Meriana is a Clinical Psychologist with an empathic and compassionate approach to therapy. She aims to create an environment that is collaborative and supportive to build a strong relationship with her clients. This empowers them to make changes so they can overcome their challenges and lead a more satisfying life. Meriana strives to provide a tailored approach to meet individual needs and differences in strengths, values and goals.
Meriana has completed a Masters in Clinical Psychology, and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. She has experience in both private and public mental health settings working with children, adolescents, adults and the older adults.
Meriana provides psychological services in all areas of general psychology to clients aged 12 years and older. She supports people with a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, mood disorders, phobias, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, anger, adjustment and stress, work life balance, difficult life transitions, low self-esteem and grief.
Meriana is passionate about integrating evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness based therapies.
Meriana consults from our Alphington clinic.
