Justin Kelly

Clinical Psychologist

Justin believes strongly in the power of the therapeutic relationship to bring about real change in people’s lives. Justin will approach your issues with the values of warmth, respect, and empathy. A collaborative therapy style that fits with you is paramount, and evidence-based interventions can be provided in a more or less structured way depending on what you feel works best. Justin’s practice is client centred, trauma-informed, and strengths based. He is sex positive and LGBTQIA+ inclusive. 

Justin draws on several evidence-based therapies including schema therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, and CBT for insomnia. 

He has worked successfully with clients across the lifespan on issues such as relationships, depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, life transitions, educational achievement, work performance, family issues, eating habits, sleep problems, ADHD, and health conditions.

Justin has also treated clients with conditions such as depression, social anxiety, generalised anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, and PTSD to name a few.

Justin received his Master of Clinical Psychology from RMIT University. Before this he completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology at the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Psychophysiology at Swinburne
