Meet our psychologists
Swati provides individual therapy to adults with various mental health difficulties that impact their wellbeing. She has a particular interest in working with a variety of presentations including depression, anxiety and phobias, personality disorders, trauma, ADHD, and relationships issues, among others.
Swati values taking a client-centric approach to guide clients towards gaining a deeper understanding of themselves through an increased awareness of behavioural and emotional patterns, internal mechanisms, and early experiences that may be contributing to their current life challenges. Reinforced by a strong therapeutic alliance, she strives to support and empower clients to face challenges, improve relationships, and lead meaningful lives.
Swati endeavours to be adaptable in her therapeutic style to deliver interventions suited to meet individual needs and salient presentations, drawing from a range of therapeutic models including cognitive behavioural therapy, psychodynamic therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and schema therapy. Her personal insight into cultural differences and strong commitment to cultural sensitivity allows her to connect on a meaningful level with clients from diverse backgrounds.
