Jardine Mitchell

REGISTERED Psychologist

Jardine has a warm, friendly, and collaborative therapeutic approach. She values the importance of building a trusting relationship to help clients feel safe to explore their emotions, develop a deeper understanding of their difficulties, and build confidence in navigating life’s challenges.

Jardine also works with health-related concerns, supporting individuals with the emotional challenges that can arise from a cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

Jardine has a special interest in supporting adolescents and young adults, recognising the unique challenges these developmental periods can bring. She is particularly passionate about working with body dissatisfaction, supporting young people to develop a kind and connected relationship with themselves.

Jardine has experience across community and public hospital settings. She tailors her approach depending on client needs, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy principles, and Mindfulness interventions.

Jardine supports adolescents and adults experiencing persistent worries, social anxiety, phobias, body image concerns, depression, adjustment to stressful life changes, low confidence, low self-esteem, and grief and loss.
