Dr Zoe Vinen

Clinical psychologist

Zoe is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist, who has a warm, collaborative and open therapeutic approach. Through this, she aims to support increased insight, self-development, and mental wellbeing for her clients. She currently works with adolescents, young adults, and adults.

Zoe works with clients who present with a range of challenges, including adjustment difficulties, anxiety, depression, attachment and relational challenges, and personality vulnerabilities.

While she enjoys working with people at varying stages of life and circumstances, Zoe has a particular interest in providing support for young people aged 15-25 years old, secondary school students, and autistic and neurodivergent individuals. Zoe is not currently conducting diagnostic assessments for neurodiversity.  

Zoe draws on relational and trauma-informed approaches, as well as particular therapies, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), to tailor to her clients’ needs.

She has also worked with clients with a range of identities and backgrounds, including neurodiverse, LGBTQIA+, and culturally diverse people, to access safe and supported therapeutic services.

Zoe has a background working in the public mental health system, across child, youth, and adult services, where she has held senior and supervisory roles.

Zoe consults from our Fitzroy North clinic on Wednesdays (including after hours) and Saturdays.
