Some of my interests
Trauma and PTSD Eating disorders Body image concerns Anxiety Self esteem and confidence See all

I provide therapy to adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, adjustment to life changes and grief. I also support clients who are navigating difficulties with trauma, emotion regulation and chronic pain.

I also have a particular interest in working with adults experiencing eating disorders, problematic eating behaviours, and body image concerns. My aim is to help clients build a healthier relationship with food, their mind, and their body.

I value a collaborative approach to therapy and take the time to understand what’s most important to each person I work with. My approach is warm and flexible, and I have a compassionate understanding of how stress and trauma can affect mental health, relationships, and a person’s sense of direction in life.

In my work, I incorporate elements of Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). When working with people experiencing disordered eating, I use Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-E). I provide trauma-informed care and use Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) when helping people to process trauma.

I’m committed to supporting people in enriching their lives and reaching their potential by improving their psychological health and wellbeing.

Nathalie consults from both our Fitzroy North and Alphington clinics.

Nathalie values a collaborative style of therapy, and aims to gain a deep understanding of the key concerns held by each client.
