Please note, Meriana is currently on leave.

I’m a Clinical Psychologist with an empathic and compassionate approach to therapy. I provide individual therapy and psychological support to clients aged 15 and over, and work across a wide range of presenting issues including anxiety (General, Social, Phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder and Panic), Depression (mood disorders), Trauma and PTSD, and perinatal and Postnatal mental health. I also work with many concerns regarding health and wellbeing including emotional regulation, stress and burnout, adjustment to life changes, work-life balance, low self-esteem, grief and interpersonal difficulties.

My clinical experience spans both public and private mental health settings, where I’ve worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

I’m passionate about using evidence-based approaches to support my clients, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-based therapies.

I aim to create a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel safe, respected, and heard. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is central to my work, as I believe it empowers people to make meaningful changes and move toward a more fulfilling life.

I tailor my approach to each individual, taking into account their unique strengths, values and goals. My aim is to provide therapy that is not only effective, but also personally relevant and supportive of long-term wellbeing.

Meriana consults from our Alphington clinic.

Meriana strives to provide a tailored approach to meet individual needs and differences in strengths, values and goals.
