Phoebe works with adolescents and adults experiencing mental health difficulties such as anxiety and mood disorders, grief, trauma, body image concerns, and emotion dysregulation. She also supports individuals to cope with work and life stress, adjusting to life changes, and relationship challenges.

Phoebe has worked with individuals and families across all ages in a variety of public and private community-based and hospital settings. Phoebe has a particular interest in supporting adolescents and young adults to develop their sense of self and identity, and to navigate the challenges that arise in this period of life.

Phoebe takes a warm, non-judgmental and collaborative approach to treatment and takes the time to really understand each individual. She believes that building a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship is vital to supporting clients to reach their goals and to gain the most out of treatment. Phoebe particularly enjoys supporting individuals to develop a deeper understanding of themselves, what may be maintaining their current difficulties and how their earlier life experiences may have contributed to current coping patterns.

Phoebe takes a holistic and individually tailored approach to treatment, drawing from various evidence-based interventions such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Mindfulness.

Phoebe consults from our Alphington clinic.
