I believe strongly in the power of the therapeutic relationship to bring about real, positive change in people’s lives. I approach your concerns with warmth, respect, and empathy. A collaborative therapy style that fits you is paramount, and I provide evidence-based interventions in a way that feels most comfortable and effective for you – whether that’s more structured or flexible.

My practice is client-centred, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. I am neuro-affirming, sex-positive, LGBTQIA+ inclusive, and affirming of all relationship structures.

I draw from several evidence-based therapies, including Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and CBT for insomnia.

I have experience supporting clients across the lifespan with a range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD and trauma-related issues, ADHD (though I don’t provide diagnostic assessments), life transitions, intimacy and relationship difficulties, sleep problems, and academic or career challenges.

I’ve successfully worked with clients diagnosed with major depression, social anxiety, generalised anxiety, OCD, panic attacks, insomnia, PTSD, and complex PTSD (CPTSD).

I hold a Master of Clinical Psychology from RMIT University, a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Psychophysiology from Swinburne University of Technology.

Justin consults from our Fitzroy North clinic.

Justin’s practice is client centred, trauma-informed, and strength based. He is sex positive and LGBTQIA+ inclusive.
