I enjoy working with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety and phobias, stress and adjustment-related difficulties, substance use disorders, trauma, personality disorders, emotion dysregulation, and grief and loss. I have a particular interest in women’s health, including challenges during the pre- and post-natal period, grief and loss related to fertility, adjustment to perimenopause and menopause, relationship and intimacy difficulties, and recovery from intimate partner violence – including emotionally abusive relationships.
I also have a strong interest in supporting people adjusting to cancer and other health-related issues. I’ve worked across various hospital oncology settings, helping patients manage the psychological impact of a cancer diagnosis, including the physical and emotional challenges it brings.
In my therapeutic work, I use a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Schema Therapy. I tailor my approach to each person, working collaboratively to set meaningful goals and support progress at a pace that feels right.
I strive to bring warmth, compassion, and empathy to all of my interactions, creating a safe space for clients to feel supported as they work through life’s challenges.
