I’m a fully registered psychologist who takes a strengths-based, client-centred, and collaborative approach in my work with adults. I believe it’s essential to create a caring, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients feel safe to explore their challenges and work toward meaningful change. My personal values – optimism, openness, and authenticity – deeply inform my practice. I aim to help clients use setbacks and adversity as opportunities for growth, supporting them in building richer, fuller, and more meaningful lives. I am LGBTQIA+ aware and affirmative, and I strive to ensure everyone I work with feels respected and valued.
I support adults experiencing a wide range of concerns, including generalised anxiety, worry and perfectionism, depression, social
anxiety, panic attacks, body image issues, trauma, relationship difficulties, stress, intense emotions, low self-esteem, confidence and self-acceptance challenges, anger management, grief, loss, and bereavement.
I’ve worked with both adults and young people across various settings, including outpatient hospital services, schools, forensic environments, and not-for-profit community organisations. I also have experience conducting clinical cognitive and psychosocial assessments, as well as designing and delivering both individual and group interventions for young people.
Clare consults from our Alphington clinic.
Clare’s personal values of optimism, openness and authenticity inform her work which is focused on helping clients make the most of setbacks and adversity to achieve richer, fuller and more meaningful lives.
